Q: Bookings, Deposit and Payment
Book a party, deposit and payment
A:
To book a party please call 78-738-4351 or email kelleherlaura2000@yahoo.com.
Deposits are required for booking character visits. A $100.00 deposit is required for all bookings. Deposits are made via paypal and you'll be sent a paypal invoice.
A travel fee is added for parties over 50 miles. A larger fee for parties over 75 miles will be added at our discretion. Parties are available 7 days' a week on first come, first serve basis.
Q: Cancellation policy
What if I have to cancel?
A:
Once, we receive your deposit, we will reserve your desired time and date for you on the performers schedule. Once you have booked with us, and you decide to cancel, we will retain 50% of your deposit or gladly work with your to find an alternate party date for your consideration, based on availability. If you cancel our servies less than 7 days prior to your event, your entire deposit is non-refundable unless rescheduled.

What do the Characters do exactly?
A:
Our performances are theatrical in style and FUN by bringing the character to life.
Our activites include storytelling, facepainting, princess parade, singing (not all performers sing), magical games, craft and dancing.

Can I customize the activities?
A:
Please note that although we try to meet our clients' wishes, we cannot deviate too much from our normal routine as it takes up a lot of prep time and additional cost. If you would like to modify the activities that we provide, please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you. However, in doing so there may be an additional charge.

What happens if there is inclement weather?
A:
LMPP character visits reserves the right to reschedule your party in case of personal or family illness, death in the family, crime, natural disaster or catastrophe and severe weather conditions.
We will strive to ensure your party can be rescheduled at a convenient time.
Q: Arrivals
What happens if a Character is running late?
A:
At LMPP character visits, we strive to be on time to each and every event. However, sometimes things don't always go as planned and a princess arrives late to the ball she will call and inform you. Please allow a 10 minute window after your scheduled party time. Although never anticipated and highly unlikely, should a character be delayed for more than 40 minutes, you have the option to cancel the party or accept the character at a 20% discount.
Q: Number of children
How many children can you entertain?
A:
In order to give each child the attention they deserve, we suggest that you have up to 12 children per performer. If you plan on having more than 15 guests, we suggest you either hire another entertainer or eliminate a time consuming activity, such as facepainting.
Q: Supervision
Adult supervision
A:
We require that adult supervision be present during all party functions. We request that parents of small children - age four and under, be present to assist their children through activities of the party.
Q: Specific performer
Can I request a specifi performer?
A:
Yes, you can. However, while we will take all performers requests into consideration, we cannot guarantee a specific performer due to circumstances beyond our control. We also reserve the right to change performers due to business considerations. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for all of our clients so if your scheduled perfomer is not able to make it, we will do our best in replacing her with another performer. Please note that not all our performers sing. So if you request a singing performer and she falls ill, we cannot guarantee that we can replace her with another singing performer.
Q: Outside Party
Do you do birthday parties outside?
A:
of course. however, please make sure that there is plenty cool shade for the performer since they are wearing heavy costumes. And the table for facepainting must be protected by a shade of a tree or canopy at all times. The area must be grassy and free of thorny bushes, mud or standing water.
Q: Supplies
Do I need to supply anything?
A:
The performers will bring their own supplies. All I ask is that you have an outlet ready for their music box. A table and chair for facepainting.

How much space do you need?
A:
Each event is self-contained. The performers are very flexible and need only enough room for the children to sit around them, princess fashion show and dancing.

Is Dress Up included?
A:
No dress up is not included with the character visit.

A gratuity is not included in your final invoice, but appreciated by our staff and entertainers.

What are the time slots?

During the winter months there will be NO character visits (only) after 5:00pm.
Q: Punctuality
Performer Punctuality?
A:
Here at LMPP Character Visits, we do our best to make sure that our performers are on time for your event. Therefore, please notify us of any unusual traffic situations in your area. (i.e., close proximity to a beach, stadium, amusement park, living near a single lane country road or state highway that may have a lot of traffic etc.) This will help in making sure your performer is at your event on time. Failing to mention traffic conditions as stated above, with the exception of accidents or construction may result in tardiness. If hosting your party at a venue, please inform us of the exact site location at the venue along with the proximity of the site from the parking lot. Please make yourself available by phone the day of the party in case the performer needs to contact you. Failure to do so, may result in your performer being late.

Do you offer characters from TV?

We do not offer characters from television. We only have professional
theatrical costumes. It is not our intention to violate any copyright laws.
The characters that we offer are NOT name brand copyrighted
characters, and we make no attempt to market them as such. The
characters that we have are of our own creation. Any resemblance to
nationally known copyrighted characters is strictly incidental and
unintentional. If you have any questions regarding this issue, we
encourage you to contact us. Should you have the need for a licensed,
copyrighted character at your event, we encourage you to contact the
company/copyright holders for your specific targeted character. Ours
are as generic as we could make them. In addition, we will only accept
bookings from individuals who are aware that we DO NOT represent any
licensed birthday party character.
